Refund & Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and refund guidelines below. These policies are designed to ensure product safety—especially for food and beverage items.
Returns & Eligibility
- We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.
- All returns must be approved in advance. Please contact us before sending any item back. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be eligible for a refund.
- Returned items must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all eligible returns.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the product is defective or we shipped the wrong item.
- All package damage must be documented (photos/video) and reported to the shipping carrier immediately upon delivery.
Non-Returnable Items
For food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds on:
- Perishable items, such as bread and bakery, cooking oil, frozen or refrigerated products.
- Food or beverage items that have been opened or are not in the original packaging
- Clearance items
- Sale items
- Custom items (such as special orders or personalized items)
Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is defective or not the item you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will replace or refund the item at no cost to you.
Order Cancellations
- Orders may be canceled only before they have shipped.
- Once an order has shipped, it becomes subject to the standard return rules above, including restocking fees and shipping costs.
Refund Processing
- All refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Refunds are processed after the returned item is received and inspected.
- Please allow 5–10 business days for your refund to appear on your account, depending on your payment provider.
How to Request a Return or Report a Problem
To start a return, you can contact us at returns@saltsmartmarket.com. Include your order number and a description of the issue. Photos or videos may be required for damaged packages, defective items, or mis-shipments.
